What to expect during your visit
We start by assessing your existing system and ductwork to determine the right fit — a UV system paired with your coil, an in-duct filtration upgrade, a whole-home purifier, or some combination, depending on the issue and your budget. Installation typically means mounting the UV lamp near the coil or return plenum where it can treat air as it passes through, or fitting a purifier or filter housing into the return duct, then wiring it to the system's power or a dedicated circuit. We test operation before we leave and walk you through any bulb replacement or filter change schedule going forward.
Humidity is the defining feature of South Florida's climate, and it's also the single biggest factor in mold and mildew growth inside AC systems — far more of a year-round concern here than in drier climates.
